You are ...Sacha, I cane here from Beauty Redefined. You are an inspiration, and beautiful in every way!

I am a size 12 woman. I am overweight, but my legs are incredibly strong. I can walk for miles at a time without getting tired. Hills are still a bit tiring for me, but I am working on it. The reason I want to be more fit is because I am pre diabetic, and cancer runs in my family. While I still eat imperfectly, I'm now the kind of person who looks forward to eating veggies, and my idea of a treat is Greek yogurt.

Sachs, it hurts me when I go online and see people, especially men, who say they won't even talk to a woman who isn't 'healthy'. What they really mean is thin. I have a boyfriend who loves me the way I am, and who encourages me to be physically and mentally strong and healthy. I have even inspired him to start working out again, because he has been unhealthy, too. But when I look around and see women starving themselves or looking stringy in the name of health, it makes me feel sad. I know that I am actually healthier than many women who go to gyms because I actually like myself.

One of the ways I work out is that I carry two heavy bags with metro work. In order to get to work I have to go up and down subway stairs, walk several blocks, and generally move around. I have come down from a size 14 and am now approaching a size 10. At my ideal size, I'm an 8, and about 140 pounds of near solid muscle. It's not about looking thin. It's about feeling good, and having everything work well, including ones mind.
Anyway, thank you for allowing me to share.Michelenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7958943862723861032.post-75336498957399262062012-05-18T22:10:35.066+12:002012-05-18T22:10:35.066+12:00A big fat AMEN to that Sacha!

The sentence that will stick in my mind and be pondered over the next years: "I get caught up in the fuss" - because I do and I know other people do too... and we kinda all know we do... only dealing with that thought is not cool, not even quietly, by ourselves.

And just btw: your teeth are bloody gorgeous and I want ones just like yours. Only my own ones. And it would make me cooler still.LilLimpethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07704044117239255011noreply@blogger.com
